National Survey of Hispanic Housing Attitudes
Client: United States Department of Housing and Urban Development
Country: U.S.A.
Objective: J&A completed a nationwide in-depth survey of 2,100 Hispanic tenants and homeowners to ascertain their opinions about their housing and HUD’s programs. The information obtained in this survey was supplemented by information from a sample of 200 entrepreneurs and professionals engaged in housing production and urban development. The purposes of this study were to identify and assess factors that denied or impeded the access of Hispanics to HUD’s programs and administrative remedies and to develop procedures for increasing the participation of Hispanics in HUD programs as employees and entrepreneurs.
